The process of producing our bespoke & handmade curtains and blinds

The process of producing your handmade curtains involves various stages to ensure that you are completely satisfied with the final product. From the initial consultation to the final payment, I work closely with each of my clients to understand their needs, select the perfect fabrics, and create curtains that are both beautiful and functional. Each step of the process is carefully designed to ensure that the finished product exceeds the customer's expectations.

  • Initial telephone conversation

    The maker of hand made curtains conducted an initial telephone consultation to understand the customer's requirements and discuss the project scope.

  • Design Consultation

    If after the initial telephone consultation, you want to move forward I will visit you to conduct an in person design consultation and fabric selection to further understand your style preferences and choose the perfect fabrics for the curtains.

  • Quotation

    Quotation: After the in-person consultation, I will provide a detailed quotation outlining the costs and timeline for the project.  This will normally be within 3 to 5 days.

  • Deposit payment

    Upon acceptance of the quotation, a deposit of 50% of the total order value will be due.  Upon receipt of the deposit, work will commence on your curtains

  • Fitting

    Once your curtains are ready we will arrange a convenient time to fit your curtains or blinds. 

  • Final Payment

    The remainder of the invoice is due on the day of the fitting

Fitting

During the fitting of your curtains, you can expect both me, as the designer and maker of hand made curtains, and a professional fitter who will install the curtain poles and tracks. Together, we will carefully measure and adjust the curtains to ensure that they fit perfectly in your space. The professional fitter will then install the necessary hardware to hang the curtains securely.


You will have the opportunity to provide feedback and make any necessary adjustments before the final installation. I will also provide instructions on how to care for the curtains and answer any questions you may have. Overall, the fitting process is a crucial step in ensuring that you are completely satisfied with the final product.
